I asked a DVC guide yesterday if this was now open to international members - she wasn’t aware that it had ever been limited and knew of no reason why it should. She did say to check with member services.

She also expressed the opinion that the ‘perks’ should be offered as part of membership and not an extra charge and there should be a return to the extras we used to get. Quite outspoken for an employee but genuine.

I check with member services and was told I could not purchase from the UK. So no option to buy unfortunately. The OTUP would have been a good deal.

Just left the member lounge in Epcot. No trouble getting in, having said that there was no wait list.
I asked member services about ability to purchase from the U.K. and she said absolutely not at this time. No reason but current program is a pilot so may change.

Interesting statement in the new Disney files mag that arrived today

" No currently complementary offering is moving to this paid programme"

Not exactly a commitment to new things remaining free

I must be missing something.

The Disney file Magazine arrived today it says
"Priced at $99 and available to eligible members for purchase the MMB is an annual enhanced benefit package that unlocks an entirely new collection of perks and privileges" then underneath states
"At Walt Disney world the specially priced ticket includes five days of weekday Walt Disney World Theme access plus an additional day to enjoy a water park is available to members who've purchased the Membership Magic Beyond option"

so do they mean they would add an extra 5 days to your already purchased 14 day ticket for an extra $99. or are we able to buy the MMB and get 5 days Monday to Friday for $99 or do you even need a pass

I would be amazed if that was the case !

I was about to post that we're not interested but then UK M's post appeared & if those 5 days turn out to be correct we'd never have to buy passes again!

Unfortunately it doesn’t include a 5 days ticket..! Buying MMB (which we can’t do anyway in the Uk), just gives access to a very poorly discounted 5 days ticket (which can’t be used on weekends). In some case the discount is as little as 1%
