Same side of the bridge as you I think. The alert really made us jump. Phoned my Dad to make sure the alarm hadn’t scared him too much and that he knew what it was for. We’ve put all our devices on charge and charged up power banks.

Those alerts are even more alarming when you are in public. In America on a coach everyone's phone going bonkers for a amber alert. Then a weather warning with in an hour or so of each other.

Had the same I basel airport with a French weather alert.

That noise they make.

Luckily my sister got the warning first so gave us the heads up and we chucked our phones in the hall cause baby was asleep.

We aren’t precious about her sleeping normally, but she’s been really poorly this week and poor wee lamb is breaking her heart so I wanted her to stay asleep and not jump out of her skin!

A friend of ours just had it on surround sound because he’s in work and there’s 75 of them very busy!

I had the alert earlier- jumped out my skin. We're in south Wales, right on the Bristol channel- bit windy and rainy. Really hope it's not as bad as it's saying it will be.

We was going to Farnham market on Sunday, but that has now been cancelled.
Should be on the Watercress Train from Alton tomorrow, better check on that.

We had the Red alert in Somerset, we all jumped too! Technically, we should be in Amber area, but I can hear the wind picking up now. 😬
I'm supposed to go down to Exeter tomorrow by train, but have postponed. GWR messaged earlier to warn of delays, saying I can use my ticket on Monday or get a refund. My friend got her alert on the bus in Devon, she was equally shocked 😲
I'm off to find earplugs and torch... 🙃

Sat listening to the wind howling! We have to leave here at 4.30am to get the coach at 5.30am - by 8am we will hopefully be past the worst of it at Bristol - just hoping we don’t have to turn around and come back again! 💙

Thank you so much ❤️ Coach has turned around and so we are on our way home again - left home at 4.30am & reckon we will get back again lunchtime having been precisely nowhere! 🤦😂
