It’s only me but they were being very strict at Avis and Budget at Tampa you got what you booked or pay to upgrade

Our usual pick up is at TPA and we usually get a free upgrade; not always but usually. This trip we booked an intermediate SUV (Rav 4 or similar) but have been given a Ford Explorer which I believe is a double upgrade. |

Well it got swapped out today as it kept cutting out when stopped and no it’s not stop start thing I’d to restart it not great when you have to do a u turn or get across a busy road or stopped in traffic on the I4
Now got a RAV4 older but much bigger and yes I made Avis bring it to me and collect the other one |

It was absolutely dangerous as I’ve to do a legal u turn frequently and as you all know you have to be prepared to get out pronto if a space opens up and negotiate a 4 way stop that the school run folk get impatient if you don move pronto it defo had a fault as the radio switch its self on randomly, and the wipers come on for no reason
I didn’t care the Rav was manky inside a cloth and a hoover out fixed that Edited at 12:51 AM. |
