Just caught up on about 5 days worth! You’ve had some amazing food. Winter Park looks gorgeous so I think I’m adding that to the list and brunch looked delicious.
I’ve never really wanted to do Bull & Bear but those tallow fries looked insane.
Everglades grilled cheeeeeese is on the list (I believe you can also add bacon) and I am envious of your Salt & Straw caramel ribbon ice cream!

Where did you buy your Orlando Magic tickets? In conflicted between buying from Ticketmaster where I can choose my seat or FloridaTix which is much cheaper plus has a BF discount. Your seats look really good!

Your Giordano’s looks amazing. We had one in Las Vegas and thought it was too much cheese (a sentence I never thought I’d say) but your photos are making me think we were having an off day and should give it another try.

There is definitely more cheese than dough on those pizzas. 🤣 I love cheese so I’m not complaining! Xx

We also went to that one on Miami Beach! I’m pretty sure you’re the one who told me about it before our trip in 2021. 😁

Ooo adding bacon to the Everglazed grilled cheese would be amazing, I wish I’d known about that! 😋

We’ve gone to the Magic a few times and have either bought the tickets direct from the Magic via Ticketmaster or from Orlando Attractions. This trip, Orlando Attractions were cheaper and Simon there is excellent - if you look what seats are available on Ticketmaster and choose ones you like, compare where they are on Orlando Attractions’ diagram on their website and Simon will be happy to work with you to book the exact seats you want.

We went back to the pool for a while after our lunch. On the way down, I grabbed a Strawberry Açai with Lemonade from Muse, the Signia’s quick service location which doubles as a Starbucks. I was a bit shocked when the total for this was $9.59 - over $2 more than it cost at Universal! 😨

A nice pool drink nevertheless! 😋

We really could not decide where to eat for dinner after such a filling lunch. In the end we got a Lyft to Disney Springs for $6.86 with a loose idea of walking up to the Dockside Bar outdoors at The Boathouse.

We started out the evening at the Coca-Cola Rooftop Bar. Will loves Frozen Coke so we got one of those for $5.06. The views up there were great (so was the drink).

Rexine was performing outside World of Disney so we watched her for a while, and also watched another performer by The Boathouse before heading in there to enquire about the Dockside Bar. I wasn’t sure if it was truly walk up e.g. you walk straight through and seat yourselves outside, or if it was kept for walk ups but you needed to be seated - so we waited at the podium to ask. Unfortunately while we waited, several couples came past us and sat at the Dockside Bar. 🙈 So at least we had our answer… but once we got out there, most of the remaining tables had ‘reserved’ on them and the bar itself was jam packed. From what I could make out, I think the tables were not reserved but they just were not serving them anymore as it was quite late. A bit annoying!

Anyway, we pivoted and asked if Summer House on the Lake could seat us outside instead, and they could. 😁 We had a lovely table right on the water. I love the aesthetic of this restaurant.

We ordered an Orlando Spritzer which is grapefruit, aperol, giuliana prosecco and soda. This was more for Will than me as I don’t love aperol, but as it happens this was quite nice and it was huge so we shared it. Will couldn’t really tell the difference from being a standard aperol spritz though. Nice but not wow!

We weren’t too hungry after our pizza, so we just ordered a couple of light appetisers to share. Firstly we opted for the Ahi Tuna & Watermelon Tostadas with hass avocado and Thai chili, served on crisp corn tortillas.

These were very, very good. The fresh flavours popped in your mouth (especially when you added the lime) - Will said he could have eaten 30 of these! 🤩 One of the best dishes of the trip. Our only complaint is that the portion size was a bit stingy!

We also ordered the Salmon Poké Nachos with avocado, ginger soy, wonton chips and spicy aioli. I thought of Claudette when this was brought to the table covered in lots of greenery.

Greenery aside, this was another delicious dish with big, fresh flavours. The crispy wonton chips were a great vessel for scooping up all the different elements. A very moreish plate of food!

Of course, we had to share another cookie for dessert. We opted for the Pinky again as we both loved the strawberry frosting.

The frosting was as good as we remembered, but the cookie itself was perhaps slightly more baked on the edges than the last one - I prefer them as soft as possible! However other than the edges the middle of the cookie was still perfect and it was a great end to the meal.

The total here was $74.28 including tip.

Day 11 total: $147.74
Overall total: $1633.50

Another amazing few days with some great food So glad you found Earl of Sandwich - it's a favourite of ours. Even better now with the drink options!I think we need to try more foods in Everglazed - the chicken sandwich looks amazing! The pizza also looks delicious Very exciting that you are considering DVC. Feel free to reach out if any questions. I'm desperate to get booked in at the new Poly Tower next year.. It looks stunning! Have another wonderful day!

What a shame you missed out on the Boathouse, it can be a bit confusing and the last couple of times we went to the back it was totally full. Summerhouse on the Lake is lovely and your tostadas and nachos looked great even with all the greenery. 😆 I think ending the night with the pink cookie was perfect! 😍 xxx

The Everglazed savoury options were such a pleasant surprise! I’d like to try their burger next time. 😋

Thank you so much! The Poly Tower example room we went into was amazing. 🤩

I’m not usually a frozen Coke fan but this one was actually lovely! I think it’s the texture that sets frozen drinks apart sometimes. X

The mac n cheese was good, especially for the price point - I think it was only $6.99 when I feel it tends to be overpriced in a lot of other places!

We checked out this morning But our flight isn’t until 11.20pm (I’ve actually already had a notification it’s been delayed until 11.50pm) so we have a full day of fun! 🤩

We chose to spend the day at the Waldorf pool as we just love how relaxed it is - and it’s also crazily hot. 🤣 The service around the pool is really good too.

The weather is insane today, the sky is so blue! 💙☀️

For lunch, we opted to share the Maine Lobster & Shrimp Wrap (with romaine lettuce, avocado, celery, tomato, scallions and spicy aioli) from Aquamarine. It comes with salted chips (crisps).

Wow, this was sooo good. We both absolutely loved it. The spicy aioli was the perfect accompaniment to the fresh prawns and lobster. The wrap was packed full of all the ingredients and tasted absolutely amazing. We could’ve easily ordered another one! The best pool food. 😍

I also ordered a Frozen Strawberry Daiquiri. This isn’t on the menu but they were happy to make it.

This was very similar to the one at the Signia pool. The perfect drink to sip in the pool on a boiling hot day! 🥰

This was $53 including tip so it is obviously not cheap, but it’s very good quality and the service is really good. We’ve been topped up with iced water all day too - it’s nice not having to move! 😅

This evening we’re going to The Boathouse (I have a reservation this time!) and a final mooch around Disney Springs before heading to the airport.

Day 12 so far: $53
Overall total: $1686.50
