Im an international owner as many here are.
The option to buy MMB opened today. I know the T&C says U.S residents only but I was able to buyin anyway. Anyone else buying in? |

I’m just reading this. Does this mean we can’t use the lounges if we don’t buy this extra pass

No you can still use the lounges if you are eligible.
You just can’t go on priority waitlists for the lounges or get in after regular hours. The lounges are open longer for MMB members, at least in January. |

I honestly can't see anything on it that would benefit us in any way tbh, so it's a no from me.
ETA: Hmm just reading the discounted DLR tickets, may have to do the sums when we're next out there.

The OTUP alone should be worth it.

I've bought OTUP once in nearly 23 years of ownership, we have too many points, so of no benefit. I'm going to do the sums on the DLR discounted tickets, but if paying the membership just for that, I still don't think it's worth it tbh, for us of course.

If you have too many points then you can use some of them for an AP. 75 for a new and 65 for a renewal.

It's a better points cost than I was expecting, but not for us next year, we're only planning on the one visit, then going elsewhere.
I'm sure it's worth it for some, but not for us.

The one time use points or the photos would probably be worth it for us (if we are using DD cast passes we don’t get free photo pass)
But I’m kind of over paying for extras. |

I pay the Annual Dues and I buy 2 Annual Passes. Disney get no more money off me no matter what incentive they offer.
Lounges! May suit others but my view is they are having a laugh.
