Manchester Airport - T2 Parking

In the past we have booked to stay on the T2 car park. Parked the car ourselves and took our keys with us.

When I look for my dates in August, all I can book is the meet and greet, which we don't want to do as it means leaving the keys or Jet Parks 3.

Would T2 parking really be fully booked already?

Plenty of threads in the past on this, think the consensus was to ring them and they tell you to make your booking in two separate weeks. Maybe ring them try this?

I'd never heard of this. I might try this for our next trip, thanks.

Having said that last time because we couldn't get T2 multi we used the drop and go service and have booked it again for next year.

Great service, car was looked after, doesn't leave their car park amd despite arriving home a day late due to airline cancelling flight home, we weren't charged anything at all extra.

Manchester Airport restricts multi-storey parking to one week these days….bizarre policy but it’s true.

Meet and greet or the other options of less convenient parking are the only way of parking over one week….you can apparently do consecutive bookings in multi storey but it’s expensive.

they've changed the long stay multi-storey into a 13 days or less parking now, longer you need to do m&g or try the double separate booking.
didn't fancy paying the extra or risking it ourselves so just done m&g, done it before with no issues but do prefer locking it and leaving it myself.
I can see our car parked on runger lane round the back of the airport now on my tracker!

We also used meet and greet this year as couldn't get the multistorey.

It was great, you drive you car through a scanner so they have a photographic record of the condition. We've booked again for 2025 and think it was only about 80 quid for just over two weeks with the black Friday discount.

I'm trying to book 8 nights in the multi story, 7 nights is fine for availability, but as soon as I try to do it for 8 nights, meet and greet only.

I've just tried to ring, but when selecting the option to make a car park reservation, the automated service says it's all done online and hangs up 🙄

We use under cover car parking for our winter breaks which means due to engineering train works after Christmas and latest forecast for bad weather we are going to have to use a taxi to and from Manchester airport. It is one reason we do not use Manchester due to their parking policy and prefer to still go down to Heathrow or Gatwick.

Given the changes announced for T2 parking I suspect booking consecutive stays won’t work as they are moving to a barrierless so will be logging when a vehicle goes in and out - any discrepancy with the booking will be picked up which would result in the original booking showing as an overstay and the second booking appearing as it wasn’t used.
