I am struggling with this. I love the film one flew over the cuckoos nest, so was looking forward to seeing this and how she became that person... but I find it niether one thing or the other. Its a bit like gotham with the bright colours and charactures, but its supposed to be real ? Unless I have missed the production point totally... but I dont see her as a subject of a graphic novel which is how this comes across...I am about 7 episodes in and it has gained status of might as well watch if theres nothing else on... 😔

Quite liked it so far, they are using a style similar to Dick Tracey if you remember that film.
American Horror Story I have never got into and keep wanting to.
The American Crime Story on Netflix I think is one of the greatest TV shows ever made, both the OJ Simpson one (same lead actress as this) but particularly the Gianni Versace one (killers dad in that the doctor in this) were phenomenal. This is Ryan Murphy also. I’m waiting for the next American Crime Story which is about Bill Clinton. If you have not seen American Crime Story do yourself a favour and watch it.

Yes (as long as you're not squeamish!). I couldn't get into the 1st episode but we carried on with the second after this thread, it definitely starts finding it's way from then.

The production values are superb on this show, they have a good cast but its like watching paint dry. I thought Sarah Paulson would have been stellar in this but it isn't happening.

Louise Fletcher in the the original film (One flew over the Cuckoo's Nest) was a tour de force and so deserved the Oscar.. Michael Douglas produced it as quite a young man. If you've never seen the film, now is the time...

I will go back and finish it at some point...

Just watched the first episode, it seemed quite good, it looks like a keeper, we only started it as we were up to date with “ The Prodigal Son” & Hubbie had been recommended by a friend 😉
