Expected but still, a shame.

No gingerbread displays in the hotels either but Voices of Liberty are singing carols at the American Theatre in Epcot.

Very sad, but as previously mentioned not a huge surprise.

We should have been flying out tomorrow, and I'm glad I'm not. Everything has been cancelled pretty much , and whilst I'm disappointed, theres no way I'm going back until it's all up and running as we knew it.

Such a shame, but as everyone says understandable.
I've also read that they will be projecting Christmas images on Cinderella's Castle rather than doing the lights that they normally put on there - not sure why. We were going to go in December mainly to see the Gingerbread Houses and the Christmas lights but I cancelled. Rather glad that I did now what with the lack of park hopping, having to chose where you'll go well before the day and the reduction in Christmas offerings. Will save up and do it when everything has returned to something similar to normal. I do hope that those who do get there have a wonderful time and I am sure that they will. |

It's very much a watered down experience over there right now. It's a lot of money to shell out to not get WDW at its best. Like many here, I've had the pleasure of attending a couple of VM events and they really are wonderful. Though I still miss the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. I was lucky enough to see it in its finaly year. I never really understood why Disney didn't move it to another Park location. Let's hope next year will see Disney back to what it does best.
