Birthday celebration
We’re visiting WDW in August for my son’s 18th but his birthday isn’t until October. My son’s in 6th form and I work in a school so we’re tied to August. Is it ok for me to advise his birthday on ADR’s and for him to wear a birthday badge as we won’t be there on his actual birthday? Thanks very much

Of course you can. Even if it’s your birthday whilst you’re there, you wouldn’t just wear the badge for 1 day!

He may not want to wear the badge! I loved wearing mine as a proud 45 yr old a few years go but those darn teens can shy away for the ‘embarrassment’

When we go we're celebrating my son's 18th (last November), my 40th (January), my sisters 30th (March) and whatever else we can think of haha! We're teachers so also stuck to these dates...All celebrations have been moderate until we go away as that's the main 'party' for us, so we'll probably do a badge or similar.

Thanks everyone, that’s what I wanted to hear! There’s no way my son would wear a birthday badge over here but hopefully he will at Disney World!
