The one on the 192 is always good.
Our bad experience was at Vineland and then we tried Outback and had 3 amazing meals at 3 different locations so gave up on Longhorns. However, prior to that Longhorns was out favourite restaurant. 192 it is then 👍🙂

Then later you can push a red cart round Target to wear your dinner off like we always do.

Mick, I can hardly walk to the car after a meal let alone around Target.

We've been fans of the Outback since 2000 and across that time have generally been quite happy with them. However, last year the one at Formosa Gardens seemed to have lost its way, nothing specific but just little things, and for the first time we never had to queue on any of our visits (this was May). The best Outback we've been in was the one is Destin in the Panhandle, but that's a bit far to go to try it. There is also a good one at Plant City, just off I4, which is handy if you are on the way back from the coast.

TBH, we also like Longhorns and Manny's, each is just a bit different.

Longhorn at Rolling Oaks by a mile for us. We've given Outback at Formosa a few "second" chances but neither the servers nor chefs seem to understand "can we have our steaks unseasoned please?"

The Texas over the road from Longhorn runs a close second but much noisier.

Mick
Not easy to understand this because steak should be seasoned before cooking.

Both chains seem to have good and bad locations. For us the Daytona/Ormond sites are always good but then so are most chain restaurants.

We loved longhorns until last years visit, everything was so salty, even the broccoli. We all had different dishes and some of it was verging on inedible. They also added a filet on to the bill, and when we started to explain to the server he just removed it immediately, as if he already knew, but we hadn’t even told him what the actual problem was by then.

Will be giving Texas Roadhouse a visit this time, not been yet.

If I detected that was a deliberate action by the server it would have guaranteed he'd lost any gratuity. We ask for unseasoned to try avoid too much salt.

In our opinion you'll find Texas similar to Longhorn but can be a bit noisier. Birthdays and other special events are celebrated by the servers line dancing and a bit of yee hawing.

Opinion of course - absolutely not a fact

Mick
