Which club level room at Universal?
Finally I have finalised the itinerary! 5 nights CBR with free DDP, 5 nights universal club level, 4 nights off site hotel. Last time we stayed at PBH club level and absolutely loved it. We had dinner in the lounge most nights and between the hot choices and various salad sides there was always enough for everyone. DH and I also made the most of the free alcohol and the kids loved the pudding course.
I’ve been reading lots of old threads on here as thought it would be good to try a different club level hotel - HRH is same price as PB and RPR is cheaper. But a few threads seem to indicate that club level is not as good. Several refer to the evening service at RPR and HRH as snacks - is there not a hot meal on offer? Plus we had a hot breakfast every day at PFB. Could anyone who has done club level at both give me an idea of whether they are very different or whether it’s just peoples different perceptions? Thank you! |

I’ve done both PB & HRH club level & the food at PB is more substantial.
There aren’t hot breakfast items such as scrambled eggs & bacon/sausage at HRH - it’s more doughnuts & bagels. The evening food at HRH is more like appetisers than a hot meal. The alcohol & evening desserts are pretty similar though. The other thing to bear in mind is that the club lounge at HRH is tiny & there’s often nowhere to sit. |

Thank you, that’s really useful. Given they are the same price I think we’ll stick with PB. We usually do 8-3 in the parks, back for pool and then make the most of the dinner service so it will work for us

I’ve only been club level at RPR and really love it, there is a hot meal in the evenings. In fact when I was researching, RPR came out as the favourite quite often. It’s handy as the lounge is on the same floor as the rooms, whereas I believe at PBH you can be quite a distance from the lounge? However, PBH is a stunning hotel, we’ve never stayed but have pool hopped over there. Had it not been quite a bit more expensive than the others we would have tried it 😊.

Yes that’s true, the lounge was a fair distance from our room. It was close to everything else though so we tended to go on our way to, it back from somewhere. RPR is also cheaper. I still can’t decide!

What is the price difference? If it’s not much, and you feel more comfortable sticking with what you know, then do that. If it’s significant, then give RPR a go
We found the lounge really handy as an extra room to hang out in when showers and things were going on, might be worth considering? Closer walk to the parks? But then the club room closes quite early at RPR... It’s a nice dilemma to have
