[QUOTE=Cherrypie;5421557]My 4 year old DD went on this in Florida and LOVED it! I thought it would be much scarier than it was, very enjoyable!

A 4 year old on this ride, I thought you had to be older than 4 to ride it?

Restriction is height, not age.

I think the height restriction is only 1.1m on this or something. I think it's low beacuse it's just a drop and you are not being thrust from side to side, hence you only get a lap bar (from what I remember)

mmmmmmm

I congratulate all of you for being so brave... I'm not too keen on the ride but I think it's because I just don't like the sensation of it. I'll go on anything else but I've been on this twice now and I cried both times... it freaks me out a bit.

Next year I'm going to Florida, my friend and her brother are joining us... he keeps winding me up saying he's gonna get me on it somehow

I'm sure you'll have fun and if you've not tried it, give it a go cos you might like it!

Exclamation ! Disneyland PARIS not WDW !

A reminder - yet again
This is the DISNEYLAND PARIS planning Forum!

Although there are many similarities between DLP's ToT and WDW's Hollywood Studio's original - they have slightly differing background stories and there are sime subtle differences between them.

They are both great and unique rides in their own right.

to me the worst bit was when you are at the top and get the view of the park. I didn't realise that was going to happen - DH and DD11 had already been on it and thought it best not to mention that bit to me and DD8, as they knew we would never have agreed. Even the CM took one look at DD8 when she got off the ride and decided it was best not to say anything to her! (I agree that the CMs really add to the spookiness).

and to make it worse DH bought the stupid photo with him and DD11 smiling away (I would say almost looking smug) and me and DD8 looking absolutley terrified, screaming our lungs out!

Having said that though, I probably would go on it again...

In response to James

James,

No disrespect but I think you need to calm down! Of course people are going to compare the 2 rides! The 2 times I've been on the tower of terror, the first one was in Florida and the second was in DLP, they both give you the same sensation and they were both very similar rides.

Thanks,

but they are different...I felt the DLP gave you more air time than WDW and that's the best part for me.
