Advice for booking at the poly
Evening all...
Does anyone have advice from experience on trying to book the poly, especially with free dining ,(if and when of course...) I read a thread below on wilderness lodge and how in April at free dining release only club rooms were available but standards showed up around September... I caught the price in November for this summer when they seemed to get a fresh inventory on the UK site, which included the free nights and I've just had a look on the US site, again for this summer which has availability, so I'm not worried about it actually selling out, but wondered if anyone has experience of trying/managing to book the poly with a free dining package. For info I'm looking August 2020 |

I am sure many people have. I did last year, although thankfully changed it as we hated it when we went over to look. The trouble is, it really doesn't matter what somebody managed in the past, because things change, there was less availability for this year versus the year before and could be same or worse again. Only think to do is wait and see.

We booked it for this year on the day the free dining was released, we wanted 7 nights but could only get 6 at the time, I kept looking and got the extra night a few weeks later with no problems.
Maybe go in with a back up in case it is not available, then if it later becomes available ring Disney and change it?

This is bucket list territory so we'll be staying there one way or another. It's good to know some availability was there with free dining. Backup plan is either wait until November when free nights are hopefully released again as I saw availablity in November just gone for this year when standard rooms went available before, it failing that the US website, which is cheaper by the looks of it but no free dining.
