I might try Plancha before we check out thanks
We dont book park views either. Im slightly relieved that they don’t have the wine dispenser yet- think id be way too tempted!🍹

Lovely to get a bottle of wine as a birthday gift. Enjoying reading along😊

OK that’s two for adoption so far and Mexy’s bagged top of the list

What does everyone think when I point out this room at the Four Seasons is $80 a night cheaper than my CR stay? Who would take the more polished luxury over the MK footpath and firework view? Apparently word on the street is that the Four has the new manager of the GF worried and talks are ongoing about pulling the GF up a bit. Citricos is closing for refurb so we hear as a first step.

In Spanish Fashion ( Right )
Rittenhouse Rye, Torres 5yr Brandy, Walnut-Vermouth Ice Smoked Glass, Gold

Buena Vista Margarita ( left )
Jalapeño Infused Patron Reposado Tequila, Citrus, Torres Magdala, Salt Air, Espelette

Croquetas
Ham, Croquettes, Caramelized Onions

Cerdo
Pork Belly, Apple Butter, Pistachio

Higado
Foie Gras, Quince, Baklava, Pistachio

All three tapas starters were excellent but particularly the foie gras baklava and belly pork.

Lamb Rack
14oz. Grass Fed

A half decent vet might have resuscitated this but that’s how it was ordered (as chef recommended) and apparently it melted in the mouth and was delicious.

Short Rib
Braised, Rioja Wine Sauce

First time a server has described a dish to me as ‘a bit Fred Flintstone’ but he wasn’t wrong - very tender and lovely flavour though

Maíz
Corn, Polenta, Goat Cheese, Sherry Vinegar

Creamy, cheesy, buttery corn deliciousness

We Ordered

Churros de Madrid
Chocolate, Dulce

And also received on the house

Arbequina Olive Oil Cake
Lemon, Blackberry, Yogurt-Honey Sorbet

Both desserts 10/10

Service was faultless, friendly and very knowledgeable about the dishes and wine list.

The resort looks fabulous. Where were all the people? There was no one in your photos. The meal in the evening also looked delicious.

Not too shabby! It looks very quiet, another advantage compared to a Disney hotel, (for those of us over 45). Enjoy.
