Ooooh thank you for the warning! I’d definitely want to avoid the character days

Edit... I just noted the autocorrect that’s an interesting restaurant name.

I’ve actually booked a Tuesday but as I’m going back in November it’s character free - found some amazing reviews of the food too so I’m looking forward to it and it’ll be a nice way to see to hotel

Thanks for all the tips! I also found that MDE shows the days it’s available and I think it’s called the Good Morning Breakfast with Goofy and Pals - apparently if characters are what you want this is a much better interaction so the blogs say.

I did find that even in ‘off’ seasons they do still so the odd random Tuesday so it’s great to be able to check and they have an outdoor seating area overlooking some fountains and grounds which would be lovely if warm enough when I’m there.

Offerings include all the obvious hot and cold breakfast fare plus they have an eggs and omelette your way station and lots of a la cart options of buffet style isn’t for you and you can add the bottomless mimosa or Bloody Mary option for $15 to any meal - looking forward to it now (I’m really just going for the mimosas and to nose around golden oaks plus the hotel)

Food looks lovely, and I notice that Ravello is on the Magical Dining Month, so will be going onto my list of most do's.

Having a great day ta, sad to leave the Four but arrived at BWI to find our TP request and CM friend had delivered a room ready at 11:45 and we are over the Boardwalk with a nice view and close to the Club level lounge pics to follow just out for lunch for a change )
The mushrooms might not make it at all we have been dreaming about boneless chicken wings and potato skins for weeks now, well since we started weight watchers fifteen weeks ago!

Sounds absolutely perfect... can't wait to see the pics! Hope you enjoyed your lunch

4th Floor Club Level room - purposely didn’t request King bed as they all have rubbish views.

The Four Seasons restaurants look amazing.

Much as I love BWI CL it just can’t touch the Four Seasons, your photos are superb

Last time I stayed at the BWI was before they had re categorised the views, there’s an amazing king bed opposite the lounge overlooking the BW - certainly wouldn’t pay the premium now for that room.

After seeing your room at the Four Seasons the BWI just doesn't seem to compare as a deluxe, however you'll have to let us know your thoughts on it.

The view

There were balloons on the door when we checked in

and welcome chocolates

And then this morning on my actual birthday the pixies knocked on the door with this
