After my post on the 'snobbery' thread, stating DLP was a good 'fix' between WDW visits - I have just booked a 'fix' for March 2010 with free dining at The Sequoia Lodge. I was going to book the Hotel Cheyenne, but for a few ££'s more(£80), we will get the more expensive resturants on our list to choose from as well as the ones given for Santa Fe and Hotel Cheyenne! We love The Blue Lagoon inside POTC so worth it for that alone!

I was really pleased with the price of £689 for 2 nights/3 days - 2 adults/2 children, with return Eurostar and free dining/free children under 12 offer combined! I called up and got a much better price than quoted online and was able to do a 10% deposit!

Wow! Something to look forward to when depressed and home from WDW in December!

We booked too early it seems! We go in 10 days... no free meals, but we got the 40% off the hotel/tickets, so that was good

Hope you're planning a trip report Adam? Can't wait to hear about your honeymoon!

I might, but my trip reports are rubbish, they'll just be mainly bulletpoints of the odd thing of note through the holiday, as opposed to a full report! There'll be photos to pad it out though!

do they give you the vouchers when you check in?

weve booked a trip to dlp for 19th - 22nd december and it says at the bottom of the confirmation letter ''you must show this letter upon arrival at your hotel to receive your park tickets and vouchers...' im guessing those vouchers are the meal ones?

I was looking on their website on the 31st August and as the current offer was finishing that day (and the offers were not available for the dates I wanted to travel) I decided to wait until 1st September to see what price I would get for the same dates ... it had gone up nearly £300 so much for free dining

Its not free dining at all!

WDW offer free dining ontop of the usual prices so if you book the day before the offer its exactly the same price for the hotel as during the offer. (we have found this many times)

Having checked the prices with DLP the prices with free dining are exactly the same as adding dinning to your package when they were running 30% off etc. So all they are doing is increasing the hotel prices to include dinning. Not really free. Give with one hand and take with the other.

I would rather have 30% and add dinning if I wanted too, which I dont.
