I'm such a chicken. Just watching that scares me! I'm going to stick to the kiddie rides when we go!

Keep saying I will give it a go in DLP but think I may chicken out! Looks great fun but the thought of the drop gives me jelly legs

It's not just a drop either - you're accelerated downwards!

If you have ridden any other towers the effects are a bit different. Won't give it away though.

I agree about the cast members playing their part. Very creepy and far better than the WDW cast members. Having been on the DLP version I was disappointed by WDW.

I agree i think the Tower of Terror ride it self is much better at DLP and yes the cast members are brilliant they make the ride much more enjoyable while you cue.

I DID IT!

It was our first ride on Friday morning ... I will never look at the lift at work the same again... shame I work on the 6th floor

I still have a sore throat from my screams, but I'm so glad I did it. I will definately do it the next time we go to florida.

I think it was actually a lot of fun

I was exactly the same as you, I am a huge coward and said there was no way I would go on that ride but then my other half and I had a bet and to prove my point (and have a day shopping) I did it... it was terrifying but totally amazing at the same time... the ride its self is very smooth well worth trying and that coming from a big yellow belly like me

My 4 year old DD went on this in Florida and LOVED it! I thought it would be much scarier than it was, very enjoyable!

The OP seems to have gone very quiet since starting this thread.

I'm curious to know whether we've helped or hindered and whether they're going to give the tower a go or not.

Oh! A thought has just occured to me... I do hope that they're not stuck in the tower!
