Really sorry to hijack this post, but i'm so, so glad you asked this! i'm a size 18/20 and am also really worried about flying with BA. We're flying out direct to MCO and i'm very worried that i'll be uncomfortable in the the seats. I'm also 5'9 so need a lot of legroom. Do you think i'll be ok? I could pay for exit row seat but these say you have to be fit and able (which i am) but am worried they may not let me have these seats as i'm larger than the average girl!

does anyone have any experience of this?

Gally not sure what you mean? I mean re fitting in the rides, I am aware of the health implications of being large but I don't have any health problems thus far. Oh no margy that is just mortifying hopefully that won't happen to me. When we took our kids to Drayton Manor I did fit ok into all the Thomas Land rides!

My Mum is your size and did everything fine with DD and us included, no embarassment etc. Even did Astro Orbitor My legs were more uncomfortable than hers on some of the tighter things as I'm 3inches taller! But a size 10, go figure.

Orbitron is not a ride you can do as a "lady" I rode with my daughter a few times and cursed my flip flops as I mounted the craft lol

I was a size 20/22 when we last went in 2011 and I went on everything with no problems at all, and all my big bits are boobs, middle and stomach so I'm sure you will be fine.

I'm a size 22 with dolly boobs and I sometimes feel uncomfortable when they push the overhead bars into place on rides like dueling dragons so have to rearrange my assets between the bars lol

Beware of the extra leg room seats. Most of them have stationary arm rests with the monitors and trays that come out of them (unless the new ones have changed) and with myself and the DH being on the rather large side we found these an extra discomfort as we couldn't lift the arm rest In between.
