Ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! No-one warned us either, DD was 8 at the time, I figured it was a gentle coaster also, as soon as we hit the dark bit I knew we were in trouble... she spent the rest of the ride with her head in my armpit, with me swearing!

I loved it...and my 7 year old Whois usually a total wimp with rides even ride it this time and said it was "awesome" ...lol

This post has made me laugh so much. I had exactly the same reaction to the ride, thinking I was going on a gentle trip through an aquatic scene. OMG! How could I be so very wrong.
Can't even say if I loved it or hated it, think I was in shock 😧

DH swears he broke a rib on this in 2011. Has never stopped grumbling about it :-(

It does get a bit rough. I quite like it. It is not like any other ride it the parks. I can see why some really don't like it though.

My daughter was 4 when she went in it and honestly the only time she has come off a ride and said never again! She hated every minute of it.
