Kid credits not being taken when no kids menu
Just a heads up that there is reports that if there is no kids menu I.e. Casey's- then they are refusing / unable to take the kids credits. Reported on one of the Facebook groups I am on.
I wonder if this is a mistake in the computer or change in policy. The blurb current states children must order from kids menu where available so I guess it's the system. |

It’s always been the policy that kids must order from the kids menu when available but the system didn’t distinguish between kids and adult credits.
Wonder if they are starting to enforce it a bit more. |

"when available" => so when there is no kids-menu you should be able to use a kids-credit on an adult-meal.
With the new changes I'm going to upgrade my 7year-old to an adult. We booked the free-Dining-offer and so it will be pretty cheap to do the upgrade (and it will save a lot of hassle). |

Yes but if there is no kids menu then that would suggest kids should be able to order from the adult menu.
If that is not the case then the current change is going to have a even bigger impact. |

Yes I agree, when there is no kids menu then they should be able to chose from the adults menu.
In 2018 I upgraded our 5 year old to a adult. We had the ddp so it was just the extra cost of the ticket, £20. We saved his credits at ts restaurants and paid for a child meal and used the credits elsewhere. |

I have been seeing these threads and I cant upgrade my youngests ticket as we are in a CBR 5th sleeper. However these changes feel like they are going to make for a stressful holiday.
I thought that servers may not be able to work the new system and as a place with no child menu an adult meal should be provided for the credit...Thd system hasn't been thought through. I have paid a massive amount good my flights this time and this has burst my bubble a little as it feels like it is making things harder.

We are on the Dining Plan and upgraded our 3yr old yesterday through ATD.
The price was also £20. Makes sense for us as adds that little bit more flexibility. Sometimes he will just share ours or i will pay oop. If he uses the credits, so be it but if not, there is additional TS credits sitting there that could be potentially used for Fine Dining restaurants. |
