Do they charter flights?

As some of you will know (and probably be bored

) that I have booked a transatlantic cruise from Southampton to Barbados.

We want to fly back into Gatwick as there is free transfers from Gatwick to Southampton so we can leave our car in long term parking there and pick the car up when we get back.

I asked the assistant at Thomas Cook (who we've booked with) who we'll be flying back with and she told me that it will either be with Thomsons or Thomas Cook.

I have searched the flights and can't see either of these flying from Barbados in November (I may have missed it)

If there don't have a regular flight back do they charter one of these airlines to fly people home from cruises?

VA and BA both fly from there but the assistant was quite sure it wouldn't be with either of these.

I wondered if anyone knew.

It's a P&O cruise isn't it? P&O charter their own flights - currently they do use both Thomas Cook and Thomson. All the passengers onboard will be P&O cruise passengers.
You don't find them on the schedules for the airlines because they're not part of their flight schedules.
If once you have your cruise booking ref you sign up online to the P&O website you can go through to your Cruise Personaliser and it will show you which flights you are allocated and times etc. We've booked for December and our flight details are already available.
