Anyone done the DCL Eastern cruise?

We did the Western last December and loved it, and really want to try one of the new ships but after doing a longer cruise I'm not sure we could do a shorter one!

We would be looking at doing it at some point in 2012 on the Fantasy? How have people found this cruise? Th western really appealed as we really liked the ports and them really interesting.

Have done Eastern on Princess Ruby if that helps. We loved it but then again I don't really care where the boa goes as long as it is warm! We went to St Thomas, St Maarten, Princess Cay and Grand Turk.

We did the Eastern cruise in 2009, loved it. Both St Maarten and St Thomas were great ports to visit and we found superb restaurants in both. We're definitely doing it again at some point.

We are doing a 4 and a 3 night B2B because a short cruise isn't enough for us either !

Even though we've already been to Nassau before, this aspect quite suits us too, as it means we can maximise our time exploring the new ship !

Also doing 2 cruises gives us chance to try several different cabin locations and types ...andthe icing on the cake, also makes us into Gold CC members.

Sadly our 7 night Eastern Disney cruise last Feb., turned into a 6 night Eastern, as the Magic got stuck on Castaway Cay for an extra day, just before our cruise, due to a freak storm. Unfortunately this meant we missed St Maarten...but St Thomas was great - we did a jet ski excursion along the coast and snorkelling - wonderful !

Isn't it just? Had a quick look through your trippie but we're not in any of your pics.

I thought about doing that on the Dream or doing a back to back 5 day, but I'm not sure DH would want to go to Nassu twice
