I’m so happy to hear this! DD begged for him - he’s her favourite- last year but we settled on a significantly smaller one. We booked to go back yesterday next September and she’s started going on about him already!

We have him too. DS got his at DLP though so only had to go in the car. Don’t tell him he can take one on the plane or he’ll buy another.

Well they made dd put stitch in the hold. They put him in a bin bag and wrapped him up but there was no charge for him. They put it through as an infant item or something.
They said the airline doesn’t allow any of the giant cuddlies through with hand luggage.

Aww such a shame my dd's big highland sheep travelled Glasgow to NY then days later NY to Orlando then Orlando to Frankfurt then to Glasgow with her at all times and with us in a seat...

At least its home now and no more stuffed in a black bag...

He made it back to Gatwick safe and sound.
We were panicking a little as he was one of the last things out and we were beginning to think he’d disappeared

That’s interesting to hear. We’ve definitely taken two on Virgin flights with no issues. Last one in 2015.

My friends son (16 lol) could not carry his giant stitch in the flight last year. I think they said it was a safety hazard and too large to put in overhead compartment so stitch flew with the luggage lol
