travel day

On our way at last!

We did well this morning - picked up by uber at 6 and luggage dropped security cleared and in departure lounge by 6.40.

We decided to have breakfast at the Cabin Bar as the queue at Frankie and Benny’s was at least 30 deep with very few empty tables.

So pancakes will have to wait until tomorrow.

Although slow, the food was tasty. I had a sausage barm cake Eva had sausage beans and potato barrels. I had a coffee and my Bloody Mary. It was just what we needed and the bill came to just shy of £27. Not cheap but typical airport prices.

Hopefully boarding within the hour so next up will be plane food.

I got lucky as I had is booked in for file and polish but when we arrived and Eva asked for spotty nails they said yes...
