I can’t believe how quickly you have got it done, most refits I’ve seen last for weeks. Just shows the value of good planning and research.
I can’t wait for the next (final?) instalment

Also Colin and cannavar- yours are amazing too! Good choices
Kitchen fitter remarked on the splashback when he sorted out the missing waste pipe for the sink on Tuesday.

As for planning and research? Had never thought of that

Yet was something we have spent so many years dreading and preparing ourselves for.
Possibly the worst thing has been how smooth the whole thing has gone - you can see the thought of " We should have done this so much sooner "

Yes we should, but current circumstances mean we can actually get it done.
Kitchen walls lined and some of first coat painting done

Getting to the really exciting stage - even my bit is nearly done

Your kitchen looks lovely and I know what you mean about the hassle involved - would be good to get the rest of the house back

As for appliances - we are left with Dishwasher and washing machine that are freestanding and until they stop working we will make the black or white decision. When we get decorated I think they will just blend into the whole kitchen décor. Deliberately chose not to get these in built as they are the two we will rep[lace more quickly than anything else.
Still gutted we had to lose our fridge to the garage - must be 17 years old and is already missed - the capacity of it was huge without anyone knowing.

Appreciate your photos and your comments
I know what you mean about appliances. Not a fan of built in for several reasons. Truth be known, we have already had to replace the washing machine. Broke down 3 times and almost set fire to the house.

Wouldnt recommend Beko!

All the best finishing the rest off...you are not wrong about the rest of the house! It was a nightmare lol

I had my dangly lights above the breakfast bar fitted today, not connected but they are there at last. Very Katie Price but I love them! Still waiting on worktop samples so my kitchen is at a halt for now.
Just added the final pictures to the first post - We are completed and so excited every time we return home!

Hope you get to the finish of your project soon.

That looks amazing! I completely understand how excited you must be. I have one week to go, end date is next Tuesday and I have butterflies in my tummy every time I think about it. Sparkly wall paper going up tomorrow!

It will all be worth it

We still can't believe the transformation and just sit in the kitchen in disbelief

Your final week will fly by and you will have more than butterflies once it is all finally done

That is lovely all ready in time for Christmas

We are currently having 9 doors and a drawer front replaced as the boning hasn't held and the doors look like they've got a huge air bubble on them.
Not very happy as the kitchen is less than 4 years old but fortunately it's still under guarantee.
