Mobile On holiday and my suitcase is broken

Bought a Tesco suitcase just before we left and it didn’t even make its first trip to the airport before the handle broke, still managed to just about get it sorted though.

Now just packing up because we leave tomorrow and the zip broke. No problem, I’ll just zip the second zip all the way around... nope, that one broke too 😭😭😭

So now there’s about 10 inches of zip that won’t do up, the bit along the top. Can I just wrap my suitcase in cling film?

Don’t really want to be paying out for another new one and I want to take this home to get a refund from Tesco anyway.

I would be more likley to get some gaffa tape to wrap around the suitcase (much stronger than clingfilm).

Walmart sell the straps to secure the cases. Get a set and strap them both ways.

At MAN there is a service which wraps luggage in cling film. I have seen it done and indeed it is very very well wrapped. Perhaps this is also available at other airports.

I would get a new case. You run the risk of the TSA opening your case anyway, let alone if its wrapped in clingfilm.
