Veggie I would re heat twice. Meat I have always been told don't re heat more than once. However sometimes I have been guilty of breaking that rule- for instance I'll used some leftover cooked meat in pasta, and then reheat the remains of the pasta the next day. Nobody has so far died in my household from doing this.

So the answer is no it should definitely not be reheated twice
I also cook for primary school children and our company’s policy is not to reheat any food, not even once and this goes for their care homes as well. It’s too much of a risk.
I would also be wondering how long the soup is out before it goes in the fridge ready for the next day.
At home it’s different, I reheat things more than once and re freeze things but I would never do it at work.

Once (vulnerable adult and all that) and why aren’t the kitchen staff making the soup fresh on the day? I work in a care home and we have two different soups served fresh and made in the same day.
And as another dinner said, if the lady is known for doing this, just set her a dish of soup aside so it can be heated up for her just once.
