Currently looks like I’m going for a Nikon 35mm, a sigma 10-20mm and a tamron 100-400mm. I’m just trying to justify the price of the tamron at the moment.

I have a full Canon SLR Kit sorting circa 8K for my professional work. For my holidays I can't fault the Panasonic FZ1000, quicker and easier than the Canons and whilst it isn't a small camera the single built in lens is great with no need to swap lenses for carry a bag of bulky lenses around.
