Help choosing a new camera?
I am planning to buy a new camera for our next trip but I’m really struggling to choose, so any expert help would be appreciated.
I currently have a canon power shot bridge camera but would like something that will give me excellent pictures but also good video footage with good stabilisation and good in low light. Preferably with a flip screen. I have looked at the canon d1300 or the nikon d3400 which I know are good starter dslr cameras but also looked at canon gx7 ll. I really don’t have a clue about cameras and would just like something wether it be a dslr or a point and shoot that can do what I want can anyone help with some ideas on what I should be looking at? |

We've just brought the canon Gx7 II used it on our recent trip, excellent video quality and sound and has the flip screen. Good photo quality almost as good as my Canon DSLR. Plenty of features and could send pics to our mobile with the Wi-Fi. It was the most I've ever spent on a small camera but I was pretty impressed with it.

We bought our daughter the TZ90 for Xmas, she loves it. Slightly cheaper than the TZ100 but packed with great features. Records in 4k which she loves and takes brilliant photos.

Thanks cyber32 yes it is a bit pricey for a small camera but seems to be the camera of choice atm. I’m just so torn between that and maybe a dslr such as canon eos 200d or something like that?
