Sequoia lodge and newport bay dining

Thinking of booking a trip early December but just a little unsure of the free dining.
Does the free dining at these hotels allow you to eat at various restaurants in the parks and village?
Also, is the breakfast at both of these a hot breakfast, bacon, eggs etc?

Yes those that accept the vouchers because some village ones dont. It's usually hot breakfast options.

We stayed at the Sequoia in January and breakfast was nice, eggs, bacon etc (we are veggie but I had beans on toast), plus cheeses, pastries, cereal, fruit etc. Also doughnuts and pancakes!
Yes your dining plan will allow buffet meals in the parks in certain restaurants, there are guides here on the dibb but I also found the concierge in the hotel quite helpful when we actually got there.
