Thanks everyone. Great ideas. Canada is a place I'd like and Alaska combined sounds good. Just trying to include our daughter as I want her to be part of it.

I thought about Niagra Falls but is it really touristy?

Lots of choices.

We have birthdays 8 weeks apart, so for our joint 50th, we went to California and visited San Francisco, Yosemite, then explored the coast from Santa Cruz, down through Monterey and beyond a little. It was super
Hi Sue. Did you do that self drive or on a tour? Thanks

Hi. Yes Canada is winning it at the moment. To be honest looking at the cost to get to and stay on the Scilly Isles it's probably going to drop off the list. Thanks

Hi
We did a self drive, which was really easy and only booked a couple of places ahead, where we knew accommodation would be busy (like Yosemite).
It is so easy to road trip in the USA, they are really geared up for people travelling by car from place to place

Thank you. Canada is proving a favourite but just not sure where to go as so many amazing places over there. Plus it can get very expensive. Need to keep looking for ideas. Cheers

Isles of Scilly would be my vote. I'm biased though I was born there!

The more I see the isles the more beautiful they look. Still 2 years to decide! Thanks
