Central Florida Zoo

Hello, my boyfriend has been thinking about other things he would like to do on our trip and has suggested going to the zoo. Has anyone been? Is it worth the trip? Is it easy to get to?

Sorry I can�t help but I�d be interested to know some info too, think hubby will be �disneyed� out if that�s all we do.

We went back in 2007. It took a couple of hours to look around. We went when it was 4th July weekend so had special activities on. We got a free photo taken with a baby alligator, for example.

It had a weird turn off from the main road and so we got slightly lost on the way there. This resulted in us arguing and then dh accidentally hitting the truck in front (a slight tap really). A big man came out and spoke to us. I seriously feared for our lives! Luckily, there wasn't even a scratch and we got to the zoo in the end!

I think if you like animals/zoos, it's worth a visit. We saw some animals we'd never seen before because they were all out basking on the sunshine. However it was a long time ago so it's probably completely different now.
