What’s with the male voiceover saying random stuff BBC

documentaries? We have noticed it a few times just recently. There is no need for it. We can see the sheep in the meadows. Do not like it. Why oh why BBC are you doing it?

Are you sure you don’t have audio description turned on? We occasionally do that by mistake, usually spot it when it describes the signature tune visuals on the soaps!

Have you got audio description turned on, it is verbal subtitles for the blind.

Nothing has changed. Everything is as it was. I could understand if it were the whole of a programme but it is just random. I would google it if I knew what to search for.,

Search your TV make and how to check if you have audio description turned on. Could have been done accidentally, I did it once on the Panasonic TV in the bedroom.
