CSR rooms?
Hi all-
Just after someone who has stayed at CSR since the refurb and the installation of the laminate floors. How noisy are we talking? Did it bother people a lot? Should we be requesting a top floor room to avoid the pitter patter? I also wondered what the order of buses was for CSR? Where is the first bus collection from? I'm gonna be requesting rooms in Casitas or Cabanas I think as I prefer the theming of those areas.

Hi we stayed there for New year and didn't have any issues with noise from above. The park buses stop at casitas, ranchos, cabanas then el centro and Disney spring buses stop at el centro, casitas, ranchos then cabanas. We used the cabanas bus stop and never had any issues getting a seat on the park buses. We never went to Disney springs but have heard that the ds buses can get quite busy with conventioners.

Just got back, having stayed on a 'sandwich' floor in Casitas 2. We had no issues whatsoever with noise from above. The only thing we did hear (just once or twice) was luggage being wheeled outside the room (which did wake me up on our first night, just after midnight) and a loo being flushed (not sure whether that was next door or above, but it sounded really loud). Bus stops were as detailed above + buses for TL and BB (running from about 9:20am) have one stop only, at el Centro. We came back on the bus from Disney Springs just once and it wasn't very busy at all. The bus service generally speaking was absolutely superb.

We stopped in a refurb room last year. First of all the rooms we're beautiful, and looking at the moderates it still appears to have the best quality rooms.
In terms of the buses - it mixed but it was mostly went of the order of Casitas, Ranchos, Cabanas, Main Entrance. We did have a family above us with small children and we definitely heard the noise/pitter patter from above. What I'd add is that it was quite obvious the family above were just letting their children run wild in the room - but then I suppose they are on holiday in Disney! It didn't bother us enough to complain or ruin the holiday, but I'd request a top floor room next time. We stopped in Ranchos and definitely would move closer to the main lobby. Each area does have it's own mini pool but Cabanas isn't a million miles away from the dig pool should you want to go to the main pool too. Hope this helps and that you have a fantastic time whenever you decide to go

It may be a daft question but are there lifts to get to the top floor rooms?
I'm not sure we will fancy a walk up all those stairs every day after the parks. |
