Qashqai owners, help needed

Just wondered if any Qashqai owners could help me out with a problem. For the past few months when I am trying to play music from Spotify on my phone using bluetooth in the car I keep losing the sound. It started just happening now and then and the sound would be off for a few seconds or so or even a couple of minutes then would start again but it has started to happen more frequently to the point that I get no sound at all now although it is showing on the screen in the car that the phone is connected and the song is still playing...just no sound. If I flick it off the Aux channel onto radio then sound resumes, so it doesn't look like its a problem with the speakers. Its got me absolutely flummoxed! Even looking online isn't helping. Has anyone experienced anything similar and can help? Thanks in advance.

What kind of phone you got?

I have a qashqai and recently moved to Samsung Note 9 from IPhone.

I notice if I go through a known network black spot it causes Spotify trouble.

I usually have to put Spotify on offline mode for seamless playback.

Ive got an iPhone. I have tried it on offline but it still seems to cause a problem. I think I may have to pop into the dealer as googling it suggests a software update on the car.
