Here we go again May 2019 21 days - Family of 4, $100 a day, 11 days in ...

Never had a budget before but this was a sneaky school holiday break so we set it at €100 a day plus the kids had €80 each for their purchases.

Children are 12 and 9 and the 12 years old eats adults meals.

Day 1
$79 Walmart
All the usual
Beer, wine, water, juice
Bread and sandwich making materials
Snacks and crisps
PiZza
Salads, fruits, ranch
Pancakes and waffles
Total $79
Running total $79

Day 2
We did an early start in Univeral, left at about 17.00 called for food on the way home, and had an evening by the pool. I took snacks into the park.

$16 MacDonald breakfast
$14 butter beer x 2
$5 fruit snack
$3 drink refil

$11 $1 shop, pop, crisps etc

$72 buffalo wings meal
Total $121
Running total $200

Day 3
Aquatica and Universal evening
We took a picnic into Aquatica and just bought a couple of refill drinks and left at about 15.30 called to GC then went into universal.

Breakfast in the villa
$2 drink 2x drink refills AP discount,
$43 Golden Corral which we enjoyed
Total $45
Running Total $245

Day 4
Seaworld we had a long day at seaworld 09.00- 22.00.
We have an annual pass so the all day dining is currently on offer at $25 PP we bought 3 adults as there is not a child option.
$75 loved the all day Dining, great value !

Day 5
Lazy morning at the villa, celebration for the little walk around afternoon and Into the Poly for the fireworks in the evening.

Breakfast in the villa
$26 steak and shake, this place is good and cheap !
$18 take out on the way home
Total $44

Day 6&7
We had a hotel booked on the beach at Clearwater so a lot of our rolled over money would go here as my husband was planning on lots of beer as he has been driving all week !
Day 6
$23 4 x beers 2 soft drinks
$16 bucket of corona
$15 bucket of corona
$5 soft drinks for kids
$62 hooters was nice here for our evening meal
$18 ice creams for desert at 23.30 at Night, we ate them on the beach.

Total $139

Day 7
$39 beach shack for breakfast
$25 Hubbie bought a top
$27 steak and shake on the way home
$12 Aldi pizza and salad for supper
$28 fuel
We got back to the villa at about 19.00 after spending a lovely day on the beach, I would recommend a trip to Clearwater.

Day 8

Aquatica for the morning then we moved into universal at 17.00 ish.
I took a packed lunch for Aquatica.

Breakfast $5 4 muffins and 4 bananas from Walmart
$5 spray sun cream as we ran out
$95 outback steak house
The meal was lovely but the service was shocking.
I didn’t leave a tip !
$3.95 giant Crispy mellow in Universal
$3 Drink
$12 coldstone creamery Ice cream for supper
$30 fuel

Total $155

Day 9
Our plans today were a lazy morning, Disney springs then onto the poly for the fireworks.

Breakfast In the villa
$15 Subway for lunch 3 footling subs
$15 Walmart, chocolate cake, cheese and biscuits and wine for the poly later 😉
$46 Lego chess set ❤️
$10 Disney bow
$39 4 tickets to the movies
$32 Buffalo Wild Wings on our way home

Total $152
Running total $922

Day 10

All day universal day today!
In at 11ish and out at 20.00.

Macdonalds breakfast $26
Universal meal
1x adult & 2 x children chicken tenders fries and drinks,
$26
Nice topings bar in Jurassic world.

We had pizza, salad and wine (adults only) from the freezer when we got in about 21.30.
And drank water all day in the park we can’t take any more fizzy drinks !

Day 11
Seaworld al day dining!
$75 looking forward to the fireworks tomorrow night.

Total $75

We have eaten out most days and had what we wanted and not rarely cooked in the villa apart from pizza, breakfast etc.

Great post. Is hooters family friendly? I’ve only ever been to the one in Nottingham (love their chicken wings) but I wouldn’t take my daughter there!

Thanks for this! Hoping to keep to a similar budget when we go so it’s really useful to hear.

We loved Steak and Shake the last time we were there so definitely fitting that in again!
