So what ya getting for Christmas?...

...and what are you getting your Significant Other?

Bought the Missus the Lego Hogwarts Castle; she'll be a busy lady - still has the massive Millennium Falcon to build also.

I've asked for either a 4TB drive for the XB1 or a PieRetro Gaming console... (she rolled her eyes at me suggesting a K&N Cold Air Intake for the Camaro... )

We don’t tend to buy for each other really, a few token bits and bobs. We spend all our money on the kids! But I am secretly hoping that Santa might bring me a new pair of running trainers. I’m sure a PS4 game and a bottle of JD will be in DHs stocking too 👍🏻

We are only buying a few stocking fillers to open this year also. We enjoy our holidays and theatre trips more so decided not to waste cash on buying things we don’t really want but put it towards our trips.

Originally we said we weren’t buying each other anything but we do love Christmas so felt we would compromise and just get the chocs, perfumes/after shaves, small gifts to open on Xmas morning.

DH is getting a new Crash Helmet for snowmobiling (when we get to Canada) and I am getting a Rose Gold bracelet to replace the bracelet I broke a few weeks ago.

I’ve bought my partner some Collector’s Edition Terry Pratchett books, a cuddly Picket the Bowtruckle, a Chewbacca money box, and many other bits and bobs more suitable for a 12 year old than a 28 year old My partner is buying me a set of Mr Toad tsums from the US Disney parks. I owe him £300 towards our LA holiday so I’m lucky to get anything!

DH and I haven’t bought each other Christmas presents for years. Both our birthdays are in November so we’ve only just had presents from one another anyway and with 5 kids and 4 grandchildren we’ve got enough other people to buy for at Christmas.

Christmas Eve is the anniversary of when we first met and fell in love at first sight, yep seriously lol (20 years ago) we was both older so knew it was right.
So Christmas is extra special for us lol
However since having children we don't buy each other anything apart from token gifts like slippers, pjs etc
Odd time I have got something special for my husband as he is the one who works but generally all our Christmas money goes on the kids. The best present in the world for us is seeing the kids faces when they open their gifts 💕
