Music For Granddaughters iPod - Help!

I had a lot of help a while ago about my Granddaughter who locked her iPod.

My Son had to put it back to factory settings and has put some music on it. However he is 29 and said Granddaughter is 8!
Not exactly compatible taste.

How can I get her some music please.

I have Amazon prime, can I get music from there? If so how?
Do I subscribe to Apple Music?

Bear in mind I can install a kitchen in 3 days but this type of things is beyond me.

Many thanks.

Edit. I dont want her to have access to my prime account, God knows what she would order.

I’d buy an album in iTunes. Then it’s just a one off purchase. Maybe a Now that’s what I call music. As that gives you what’s currently popular.

Thanks Bev. Would I need a subscription for that or can I do a 1 off purchase please?

I would recommend getting an iTunes voucher to pay. You can set up an iTunes account without having a subscription to apple music. The reason I recommend getting a voucher (from a supermarket etc) is so you don't need to input your card details. iTunes has been notorious for hacking in the past and I wouldn't take the risk.

From iTunes you can do a one off purchase for a specific song or album.

My dd 16 says Spotify is the best, she gets any song for £5 a month but gets a student discount. Just google Spotify and sign up, then you can pick what you like x

I have a 5 yr grandson and every time in the car wants a diff tune of whoever’s his current favourite.
We went for Spotify subscription as saves buying all types. Just plug in , ask the car system who he wants and hey presto. We also use it around the house.
I can’t knock up a kitchen but at 73 love my techno 😉😉

Some good ideas thank you.

Lets say I bought a £25 Apple voucher. Can I just pick individual songs or is it albums only?

If I sign up for Spotify and pay a subscription can I pick individual songs or again is it albums?

Sorry but this is way out of my comfort zone! Plus I hate music unless it's from the 50's!

Spotify has loads of 50's music 😀

You can order single songs on spotify and then set up your own albums
