We missed it by a day. We spent last night with DH cousin in Cocoa Beach. Her veranda has a view of the launch pad, but it was cancelled last night ☹

About 1.5 hrs for us too from cocoa beach to kissimmee although we set off within minutes of the scrub being announced by spacex on twitter. There were big queues trying to merge from Jetty Park and the 401/Cruise port.

Here we go again - back on cocoa beach same spot as yesterday. Have a lovely hotel booked in fort lauderdale that we were supposed to be having a lazy day by the pool before flying tomorrow. Instead we'll be driving probsbly 4 hrs in the queuing traffic and dark and arriving there at midnight - but not everyday (or holiday) you get a 2nd chance to see a launch - fingers crossed. DS broke his heart last night too when it was scrubbed so we just had to try again for him as we are still here (just).

Amazing, what an experience you must have had!
We just got back to the villa in Kissimmee from spending the day in tampa and watched it on Fox News and decided to look outside, we managed to see a small firework like thing in the distance then a few mins later seen the boosters lit up coming back down!

Absolutely awesome - yesterday's disappointment long forgotten. Low to High in 24 hrs. The sonic booms on landing were something else and we had a clear view of the boosters (if that's what they are called?) Coming back down to land.

Saw it from Epcot! Just sitting down for Garden Rocks and watched it over the Germany pavilion!
