Gulf Coast recommendations
We are looking to spend the second part of our holiday next July on the gulf coast. Can anyone recommend an area to stay or accommodation they have used. We don't want to have to drive too far down! Thanks

Anna Maria island is a big favourite with a lot of Dibbers, beautiful beaches lots of restaurants Ellenton Mall close by. Sarasota down the road and Tampa and Busch Gardens around an hour away. We stay in Villas not on the Island as we have family in the are but I would think lots of Dibbers have stayed in hotels etc in the general area

We stayed at Villa Azure in Cape Coral- beautiful relaxing base to visit local beaches

We love to stay in a quiet condo in Palm Harbor- easy access onto main road to Clearwater & beyond but also close to quieter beaches like honeymoon island lovely places like Dunedin. Depends whether you like lots going on around you
