Hard Rock or Royal Pacific Hotel ?
We go in 2 weeks and looking at booking for 1 night for 4 adults and 1 17 year old in 1 room. Which hotel do people prefer?

For 1 night it shouldn't really matter. Both fantastic hotels.
Personally I prefer RPR and it is normally cheaper than Hard Rock so I would recommend that one. |

Both lovely hotels, personally I favour the theming at HRH & the walk to the studios from there but generally just go with whichever one comes up the cheapest as there's no wrong choice imo.

Hard Rock have a deluxe queen room that has 2 x double beds and 1 x double sofa bed (wider than the beds).
We book this every time now for us 5. Staying there again in August for a week. We have stayed at RPR with a rollaway and it's very tight. |

We always book the RPR as I like its location, being slightly away from all the hubbub. The boat is a nice way to get to the parks and Citywalk although we like to walk it anyway and it only takes 10-15mins at a stroll.
If you want to be in the centre of the action and a shorter distance from the parks, then pick HRH.

HRH is our choice when staying at Universal but agree with earlier reply, for one night I’d go with the cheapest.

RPR. After the parks close grab a table poolside and order the (surprisingly cheap) nachos and a cocktail.
You're welcome. |

Whichever is cheapest if it’s just for 1 night. Stayed at RPR twice (for 1 night) and it’s lovely but going to try HRH in October for a change as we are staying 4 nights.
