Las Vegas shows dress code?

Hi all. I'm off to Las Vegas in July and will be seeing several shows; Cirque, Jubilee, hypnotist & a magician.

What clothes are acceptable at these shows? In Florida I'd wear shorts and T-shirt, but is Las Vegas smarter clothes-wise?

Many thanks in advance!

I can't remember if there was an actual dress code, I went for smart casual, to be honest the theatres can be pretty fierce with the air con, t shirt and shorts may be a bit chilly.

We wore nice clothes, not suits and ties, but smart shirts and long trousers, but you will find that people will turn up very casually. I took the view that it was a special night for me and so I would dress nicely.

We were smarter in Vegas but I am not sure it is a requirement.Dh in chinos and a shirt maybe and me in a dress. But I wear sundresses in Florida too it makes the transition from day to night easier.

We've always found anything goes. We've seen people at shows dressed very smartly and people at the same show very casual in shorts and t-shirts

It is what pleases you to be honest.

But if you plan on a nice meal in a more upmarket place than the many eat all you can buffet type place in the hotels :-) then long trousers for the man is a must.

It was mentioned before as w ell the air con can be set to antartic conditions :-(

The last time we went, we saw everything from black tie to shorts & t shirt.
I think it makes the event really special if you make the effort & it's nice to dress up

I'd go smart casual - chinos - short sleeve shirt for a guy. Summer dress or top and skirt for a gal. Youmay want sweaters / cardigan. The air con can be quite drastic in some places- even in theatres.
