Actually they reopened the deal this week:

reservations.mgmmirage/b...01&code=MKT233

it's available to be booked by May 25th. It really is a spectacular deal.

One oddity with booking online is that you can only enter adults, not children. I have just confirmed (again) with the MGM Grand (001-702-891-7777 from the UK) that the children do not need to be registered, they just want to know how many adults. This was booked back in March. The buffet is for two people, for any combination of breakfast, lunch & dinner buffets. It's an amazing deal really - even if you only use it every other day, it's a huge saving.

We have six nights in a Bungalow Suite (with two Queen beds) for $711 (including a Friday & Saturday night). I think the Palazzo deal I booked last week will fall by the wayside - this is just such a great deal.

I'm no expert, but I've visited Las Vegas 14 times since 1989 - if you want some advice, feel free to pm me!

Helen, what was the morning buffet like? It's been so long since I've had a breakfast buffet, I have no idea what they're like anymore?!

The more I think about it, the more I love this deal. It's incredible really - you can certainly eat (if you wanted to) more than the room cost, on a daily basis. This is how Vegas used to be, when I first started going, back in the late 80s... On our honeymoon, we stayed at Vegas World (now Stratosphere). You had to pay $199 upfront for the deal (can't remember what it was called now) but we got a room for 4 nights, including a weekend, free drinks at the bars, 2 free buffets a day, $200 in 'funny money' (can only be used on certain machines) for slots and $100 in chips. I turned the funny money into about $150 real cash, and converted the chips into over $100 in money too. I know we had four nights, ate and drank ourselves silly, and walked out with it having cost us around $150! Great times...

*EDIT* I've just remembered that you got $100 back (in cash) as you checked in. The two of us paid $398, and walked away about $50 to the good! I knew we ended up winning!

It was quite good. There was the normal American stuff - bacon, scrambled eggs, sausages, pancakes, waffles then an egg station (big queues - never bothered) Mexican food, eggs benedicts, quiches, salmon, bagels and other types of bread, cereals, yougharts, cheese, cold meats, fresh fruit -strawberries, blue berries etc, cakes and muffins and of course ice cream. I think there might have been sushi - I remember eating it but not sure if it was dinner or breakfast.
I certainly wouldn't liked to paying for too many alcoholic drinks in MGM - it was quite expensive in the bars but as I previously said the Casino Cocktail Waitresses were never too far away from us.
They had a deal at the buffet - $14 for a bottle of house wine and $15 for 60oz jug of beer and there was a deal at the pool for bottles of beer in an ice bucketfor $25 for 5 (I think)
