Any idea how long

Hi been looking into doing a coach tour from Las Vegas going to the Grand Canyon (coach only no helicopter flight) stopping at Hoover Dam etc says trip is 15 hours does anyone have any idea how long the journey is from the strip out to the GC.

Sure it's about 5 hours - but sure someone will be along to confirm it. If you dont fancy helicopter have you thought about small plane- this is what we did - they have large windows so you get good views.

We did this last year - more a mini bus tour than a coach tour, was FAB! Took about 6ish hours to get there and slightly shorter on the way back...so long day, but so worth it!

I so want to see the GC but am torn as the flights are so expensive but I really don't think I can do that many hours with my children ! At least with the flights you are there and back and still have some day left.
