Ages for rides
I may sound a little bizarre here, but what age is it for a child to go on rides ? e.g carousel, dumbo, peter pan, basically little kiddie one's. I think it's just over a year but not sure?

It's not done on age, it's always height. They disneyland Paris website will have all the information on height requirements for each ride.

My son went on many rides when he was just 3 months old, a babe in arms. In Orlando though, not sure if there are any differences there.

thankyou, he will be 2 and a half and I know its height but I saw someone nearly get refused on the carousel because they thought the baby was under a year then(suppose its based on cast member) just didn't want to queue up with him to find he's too young to go on x

Could be that they have to sit in a seat and not held for safety reasons. Ask before you start queueing.

Regarding the carousel, my son is 2 and they let him seat on the horse so long as an adult was stood next to him while the ride took place so I'm sure you'll be fine x

I've just been with my 2 yr old...she went on
Buzz, carousel, teacups, story boat ride, casey jr, Peter pan, Pinocchio, Snow White, Pirates of the carribean in the main park. I stood next to her on the carousel Then flying carpets, cars, slinky dog, army parachute drop, in the studios. Obviously we also did shows, meet and greets and the maze She is small for her age .. They usually say no under 1s cos they need to be able to sit |

When we went in October my youngest was 20 months old and he went on all the rides in fantasy land, phantom manor, Pirates of the Caribbean, buzz and orbitron in the main park. in the studios he went on magic carpets, cars, slinky dog, ratatouille. There are a lot of rides they can go on before it hits the next minimum height level.

The first time my younger daughter went was a week before her first birthday. She went on numerous rides over the few days we were there, including the cars ride in the Studios. Then on our last afternoon we queued for the cars ride again, got to the front and got on, then the CM asked my husband how old my daughter was and he said 'nearly one'.
He then refused to let her on the ride and said that children have to be a year to go on any ride. We protested that she'd been going on rides all week and even showed him a photo of her on the cars ride the previous day but he wouldn't have any of it. He said it's in their 'terms and conditions' that children under one aren't allowed to ride. In the end we just left as he was adamant he wasn't going to let her on the ride  |
