Kennedy and Airboat?

Looking for advice from those that have visited KSC before. Myself and my girls are looking to go to KSC with transport for the day never been before and I noticed they also offer a day with an airboat safari included. Is it worth doing this or is it best to concentrate on KSC, will we have enough time to see all KSC before departure for airboat? Decisions... decisions... Think I should be like DH he doesn't want to go there and is taking a day by the pool instead to relax

I can't remember the company we went with back in '09 but we did a short airboat tour on our way to Kennedy and really enjoyed it. sadly didn't see any gators but it was fun and not that expensive for both combined really. It was on the way to Kennedy IIRC.
