September 2022 for us. We don’t want to risk it next year with the 50th celebrations - not to mention we need time to save up! 😁

Yes. Looking at either April, May or August 2022. Will be doing 4 weeks so we haven’t decided on dates.

We’re in the process of cancelling Oct 2020 and have decided to give 2021 a miss as there’s just so much uncertainty at the moment. We’re planning 3 weeks in Aug / early Sept 2022, need to be back home before DD (hopefully) starts Uni. We’re thinking of 3 nights in Boston, a couple in NY, 4/5 with family in Philadelphia & 10 in Orlando.

September is our preferred time to go although be aware the weather can be very wet. We’ve been lucky sometimes with weather and unlucky others be we always make it work. Crowd levels are manageable but as others have said there are no quiet times anymore.

September is peak hurricaine season so worth being aware of, though Orlando is seldom badly hit.

So great to hear from many of you in the same boat! Waiting until 2022 will give us more time to save too, so hopefully that means we can stay at a nicer villa or hotel and get an upgrade on the hire car. OH has her eye on a Mustang! 😊

we have been in sept 4 times now and the weather is good with a few showers in the afternoon but not for long and out of the 4 times we had 1 hurricane which was Irma in 2017 and lost 3 days but planning on next sept 21 still as not concerned on what's going on and hopefully things will be a lot better by then also Disney anniversary won't start til October so I have been told.

Hey,
I am looking at going in September 2022. I think its just a little bit risky than next year and I want to really enjoy the build up and planning without the worry of everything happening right now. Anyone have any idea when the best time to book is? I have saved he money for the holiday already. Just got park tickets and spending money to save over the next couple of years. I have been the end of September into October before and I really really enjoyed it. Was really warm, not massively crowded. Food and Wine was on. The only but is it is hurricane season and we lost a couple of days as hurricane Mathew arrived. Annoyingly that meant we lost the last couple of park days! But you learn from these experiences and from that I learnt do the stuff you want to do the most at the start of your trip. We missed MNSSHP 😢 Claire |
