Anyone still hopeful for this year?

We were supposed to go this May, we then rebooked for the end of October. With everything that has gone on, last weekend we moved our trip to May next year. We are fortunate that we have been at least yearly for many years. I am sad but with the numbers going crazy in Florida, i think staying home is the best and safest option.
I just hope that things will settle down there and certain people (DT) realise that living healthy people are vital to a thriving economy.

i think they will go ahead to some degree. i think restrictions maybe in place tho so is it really worth it.

we were so hopefully that end of sept this year would be safe n sound to go even if it meant wearing a mask. but we all made the decision last week to move it until the end of april next year.
the postivies is we can save a little more spending money to splash out!

I have trips booked in October, November and January. These trips are all paid for with Avios and banked DVC points. January was booked before the pandemic and Oct/Nov trips were booked in lieu of August to use our companion voucher and banked points. DVC points need to be used by July and we have no holiday time between Feb - July. Also have our son taking his GCSEs.

I was hopeful until last week. Now, I’m just in the ‘wait and see’ camp. We have already had 4 trips/holidays cancelled and I just don’t want any more cancelled.
