Hopefully useful to someone!
We have flights booked to Fuerteventura with Ryanair for 22/8. 1 out of the 3 (we were flying back via Dublin) has already been cancelled by them & we are due a refund. I’ve contacted them to ask about us cancelling the other 2 based on the fact that we can’t complete our journey, the FCO are advising against non-essential travel & we would be unable to quarantine when we get home. Ryanair said, it was advice from the government & not a restriction so we were not entitled to a refund or voucher as the 2 flights were still going. I contacted our insurance, who said if the advice about non-essential travel was still in place 48 hours before travel, we could submit a claim. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn’t change in the next 6 days!

That’s interesting.
Submit a claim to whom? How did you manage to contact Ryanair and receive a response? |

Was this all on one ticket? Surely if they can't supply in full what you bought they need to refund you for the whole lot? I know a few people who 1 of the legs of a return trip was cancelled but they got refunded for the whole trip!
Hope you get sorted, we received our Ryanair refund last week from June, still waiting on vouchers from Aerlingus |

I’ve submitted my insurance claim for our flights today. It took a while to get everything together, but hopefully it will be worth it. Obviously there’s an excess but hoping to get back about £750, fingers crossed.

I think Ryan air are correct, they are still flying out and you had separate bookings so they dont know you cant get back to the UK.
