Winter Boots

So its getting to that time of year again...

This year, I'm on the lookout for some winter boots. When the weather is dry, I will tend to wear uggs but obviously they're hopeless in the rain.

I've got Timberlands which I wear for dog walking, but looking for some waterproof leather boots which I can tuck my jeans into. I want ankle to mid-calf height and flat or low heel.

Does anyone have any suggestions of brands or shops to look at? I don't mind a higher price tag, if they're going to last.

Thanks

I have Ugg Aurea in black suede they are more dressy ankle boots with a rubber sole
I also have Ugg Wilcox in brown with a sheepskin lining
And Ugg elenor in grey suede boots with a higher heel but a rubber sole
All very comfortable true to size and warm
All from M&M direct

Dubarrys. I'm not just saying that to be flash, because I know they're expensive, but I got mine 6 years ago and they are bomb-proof! I have worn them basically every day of autumn/winter/spring each year to walk my dog and the sole is still good. Probably get another 3 or 4 years out of them, I'd say. Normal cotton socks with fluffy ankle socks over the top to keep my feet cosy, they're waterproof and easy to maintain.
